Over the course of just five tracks and about 15 minutes, George Harris will take you through a chill, yet emotionally intense journey through psychedelic spaces full of colourful beats and grooves.
In addition to stand-alone tracks, this short album features the first installments of two recurring series:
-Beat Ballads #1 where Harris started out by writing a Jazz-style lead sheet for a tune and then turned that material into a lofi beat.
&
-Opus Ballads #1 where Harris took recordings of Classical instrumental music he composed in the past and sampled them it into a beat.
Rivers Persevere & Why Not Now are the two tracks on the album that have been most highly acclaimed as beautiful crossover pieces that draw from both electronic beat making as well as classical composition.
